500 Hay St, Subiaco
In collaboration with Tee Ken Ng this project incorporated a number of elements within a retail plaza precinct, including sculptural bollards, seating elements, a free-standing sculpture, and in-ground moiré animated lighting.
The brief for this project responded to a sense of play that may be expressed within the functional and formal elements of the landscape throughout the site. These individual elements were then expressed in a single sculptural form within the centre of the built environment. The stacked formal design was influenced by children’s building blocks, expressing the importance of play in a balanced life.
