Electric Laneway

This project was designed and completed by AS Perth Director Paul Caporn in 2022 on the Electric Laneway outside wall of the Leederville Hotel. This wall relief was made from found and recycled materials with neon lighting responds to the history of the area and the Leederville Hotel.

It was commissioned by the Leederville precinct as part of the City of Vincent’s percent for art scheme.           

With the desire to achieve an integrated response AS Perth worked closely with the project team to develop an artwork that would sit comfortably within the laneway precinct but at the same time stand out helping to draw people to the area.
